Have you noticed whenever you need to concentrate on something you regard important, often times you get distracted by small things, problems, challenges and so on (also described as No.7 in this post on the 11 Productivity tips). This surely prevents you from getting it done according to the timeframe you planned. For example, when I was writing my thesis I would often find myself doing dishes, cleaning the apartment, watching TV or surfing on the Net … or anything that the other part of my brain would say (lie) is also good/necessary  to do right now. Two Stolen Bikes In Two Months

Well, on Friday, in the middle of the day, my brand new bike got stolen at the Odense Central Station. Some really bad people cut the locker on the bike and probably took it for a sale.

The ‘ridiculous’ part is that this is our second brand new bike that gets stolen here in Odense, Fyn, Denmark. The first one was stolen two months ago and it was Tatyana’s means of transportation.

What can I say … I am very disappointed with the fact that there are so many bicycle thieves in Odense. And the sad part is that when reporting to the police I suggested them that they put some 24/7 cameras that would help them find these bad people. Continue reading »

I just remembered a time back when I started my self-development journey.

It all started for me when I was writing my master thesis as far as I recall. It was hard and challenging to keep myself motivated and continue to write. I needed help. But I guess I was looking not for a thesis counseling but for psychological help because I realized how important it was to establish a better connection with myself.

This was when I began searching on the Internet for some help. I came across this free book “Notes from a friend” by Tony Robbins. I ordered it and sure enough in 10 days I had the book delivered in my postbox. Continue reading »
