Me being interviewed

Me being interviewed

On my last day of visiting Washington D.C. I made up my mind to walk around in the attempt to find a shopping mall and get some presents to take home with me.

As I was exploring the streets of D.C. I ran into a United Press International (UPI) reporter who asked me if I had a minute to answer some questions. “Sure” - I said. He asked me if I would mind answering three simple questions. I told him that I am not a local and I might not be able to have answers to all his questions. He assured me that I needn’t be one. Phenomenon in Orlando

Hello from room 668 of Orlando Airport Marriott Hotel,

The first day of the Phenomenon conference is over. I just wanted to share these pictures we have taken in the past 48 hours. Orlando is beautiful (a bit chilly though in the evenings).

A nice touch screen in the aircraft we were flying in. A good collection of music, movies, games, maps and etc. Continue reading »

Overnight ferry to Oslo

Overnight ferry to Oslo

Hello from Cabin 5611 of the overnight ferry to Norway!

We’ve been meaning to visit Oslo for some time. Not only Oslo is a beautiful city for its buildings and architectures but it is also a home to the laureates of the Nobel Prize for contribution to peace.

The experience was great. Although we spent most of the time on the ship (more than 32 hours), we managed to walk around the downtown in Oslo in some 6 hours having visited places like the Royal Palace, the Oslo City Hall, the Nobel Peace Center and so on. See photos below and feel free to leave your comments.

Yanik Silver’s Underground Online Seminar 4 in Los Angeles, CA - Day1

Saturday, March 29, 2008 8:06 No Comments

Hello from room 525 of the Los Angeles Marriott Downtown Hotel (333 South Figueroa Street) at Yanik Silver Underground Online Marketing Seminar in Los Angeles, California.

Day 1 of the Seminar is now over. We had a full pack of content day where greatest minds came to share their experiences. Some of today presenters include: Cameron Johnson (a guy who started his business at the age of 9 years old), Tony Hsieh (CEO of Zappos.com and a multimillionaire) who sells shoes online, Eben Pagan.

The networking opportunies are so vast and amazing. I got to meet some great entrepreneurs who I admire and really consider as great mentors. Some of them include: David Frey, Yanik Silver, Tony Hsieh and so on.

The fun part was when we played the 24 Spy Mission game that was really the scavenger game. After the game, we got to meet and mingle with some other attendees.

Now I am looking forward to the other two days. It is going to be blast and very informative. I am in the sucking-out mode ;)

Easter Holidays With Sweetie in Middelfart, Denmark

Sunday, March 23, 2008 10:42 No Comments

Although small and only with 8000 inhabitants Middelfart, a city to be found on the Fyn island of Denmark, is a ‘petite’ and cosy place.

My fiancée got employed by a Danish Holding called A/S Dan-Bunkering that mainly trades oil and other commodities.

While in Middelfart we visited some of the most beautiful places in the neighborhood, as well as other parties organized by Tatyana’s friendly colleagues.

Educational Technology BETT Show in London, January 9-12

I recently went to the educational technology trade show in the Olympia complex, which is the biggest trade show I’ve ever been to. More than 600 companies were presenting their stands with dozens of staff and various shows, product presentations, contests, you name it.

I don’t think it is a coincidence that all big corporations are in education because it is and will be the core of the society’s drive … but this time it is a focus on digital and Internet.

Some call it “Webucation” — according to Peter Drucker of Forbes Magazine, “Webucation is the next GREAT growth opportunity … an organization with a powerful webucation product and a virtual income opportunity …

Visit at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada

Wednesday, December 26, 2007 21:22 No Comments

I put up this video on Youtube to share/remember the time when I was studying at Dalhousie University as my exchange program at Copenhagen Business School. The video here is just a compilation of pictures I took back in time, and it shows nice moments during the visit in the Fall 2005.

You can also read my Travel Report (55 KB .pdf) on my visit to Dalhousie. Overall, the experience was great!
